Visual Identity for Sports Equipment Retail Network

The Challenge

  • Design a fresh and┬áimpactful visual identity system for a sports retail startup.
  • Establish presence in the market as the top authority for skiing, rollerblading and hiking equipment and apparel.
  • Create and over-arching brand identity with scalability in mind.

The Context

Founded by former members of the Serbian national ski team and sports and recreation professionals, Outdoor Sports is aiming to become the leader in providing quality equipment for outdoor and sport enthusiasts at all skill levels. A strong brand presence would ensure that the company is viewed as a leading source for family outdoor activities and set the tone of voice for communication inside and outside of the company.

My Role

  • Concept development: Create a cohesive and scalable visual structure that sets the tone of communication from initial hand-drawn sketches and wireframes to final identity applied across various communication channels .
  • Brand Strategy: Establish scalable strategy for including diverse brands under the same “umbrella”; communicate with diverse target groups through all the seasons
  • Unify marketing strategy to cover both sport-specific technical and general outdoor activity┬á products across multiple communication channels, including email, social media, website and print marketing.
